Washington, DC
On May 9, 2001 CHEC will launch
its National Environmental Childproofing Campaign
in Washington D.C. CHEC's goal is to reach the parents
of the four million babies that will be born this
year. Thanks to the support of Olivia Newton-John,
CHEC's National Spokesperson, Kelly Preston, a CHEC
Board of Director, and Ella Bleu Travolta, CHEC's
official spokesbaby, we hope to educate new parents
about the common sense choices they can make everyday
to create a safer home. environment for their families.
"CHEC's new video, "Not Under
My Roof: Protecting Your Baby From Toxins In The
Home," provides practical and common sense solutions
to help every parent learn about the hazardous health
risks associated with toxins in the home"
Olivia Newton-John
"I
am so happy to be apart of CHEC's national education
campaign that tells us what we need to know about
the invisible dangers of common household products
and what simple steps we can take to keep our babies
protected from them." Kelly
