CHEC hosts "An Afternoon of Poetry for Children...and Their Adult Friends" at the Nightingale Bamford School, New York City.

Celebrity moms and dads and their children read selections from "A Child's Anthology of Poetry." CHEC readers include: Olivia Newton-John and her daughter Chloe Rose Lattanzi, Cydney and Chevy Chase, Christie Brinkley and daughter Alexa, George Plimpton, Mike Hernandez and Mariel Hemingway. All funds raised for CHEC go to support education and advocacy as well as increase public awareness about children's unique vulnerabilites to environmental toxins.
