Carrie Cook Platt

Carrie Cook Platt is an award winning television producer. Her credits include pieces for 20/20, specials for Barbara Walters Presents and Peter Jennings Reporting. She has produced news specials for children including 'President Clinton - Answering Children's Questions,' a children's town meeting held at the White House. She is the recipient of three national news Emmys. She is currently
 



contracted by ABC News to coordinate the production of their 12 hour prime-time millenium special - The Century with Peter Jennings.

Carrie previously worked in advertising as a copywriter and producer of television commercials. She won the first place Hatch Award for advertising excellence in the public service category for her writing and art direction. She was the youngest person ever to do so. Her pro bono client was Citizens for Handgun Control.

Raised in Boston, MA, Carrie graduated from the Pingree School and the University of Vermont. She currently resides in Princeton, New Jersey with her husband, two children and a pesticide free lawn.
